Ein Release, auf den ich sehr gespannt bin. Habe zwar keine Intention die in naher Zukunft auch zu spielen, trotzdem muss man die grummelnden Bartmänner ja irgendwie gern haben. Und sie könnten schon Hinweise auf die neue Edition geben.

No finecast was mentioned at all. If you look at what needs plastic kits in the existing Dwarf range, and look to the old-unit/new unit splits in the Dark Elves release for inspiration, it's not too hard to figure out what's coming.

These latest set descriptions dovetail almost exactly with Spanish rumors from early November.

Core Troopers won't get a new box.

Light Armor Infantry Box is Slayers and a second build I couldn't
recognize. They look indeed weird, however the Slayers are more dynamic
than I'd expected them to be.

Heavy Armor Infantry Box is Hammerers/Ironbreakers dual build. They look
just so much better than their older versions, quite some variation
considering their former lack of such.

The "War Altar" is a dual build of Throne and Anvil I believe. It wasn't
quite clear, but it seems to be possible to give a "regular" Dwarf King a
toned done version of the Throne.

The plastic clampack character looks amazing. Simply. Amazing.

The Gyrocopter is quite a lot better than the previous one, but not quite
as good as it could have been. But it is a lot bigger, the dwarf isn't
really that much sticking out It blends in nicely with the rest of the army.

The Tunneling Vehicle looks pretty awkward considering the awesomeness of
the rest of this release. I think the rumoured "big cannon" could be a dual
build with this one, it looks pretty much twice as good as the Tunneling
Machine, especially considering how much potential there was.

Rules Rumours:
Pretty few that I know about, but here it is:
Playing Style: The playing style will be quite similar to the previous one,
but with a wider variation of possibilities. Ironbreakers will be even
harder to crack open while Hammerers are No-brainers (Dwarves are slow,
but those can hit like a meteorite if they get you!).
Cannons are a bit toned down but are still as accurate as always. I think
there's a decent chance of not having a single misfired shot within
multiple games.

Klingt ganz interessant, bin mal gespannt großes Grinsen

Hab zwar auch kein Interesse an denen, aber nen brauchbarer Zwergenbausatz wär ganz cool für mögliche Umbauten ... *hust* Chaoszwerge *hust* rotes Gesicht

other box because no armor, Irondragon other box. all the new models
very cool.)
All the rune are same and warmachine too
The magic item:
1: The armmr can give the user T10

Bin gespannt wie teuer die Widerstand 10 Rüstung ist. Klingt natürlich schon mal sehr stark.

Black Smith verstehe ich noch nicht ganz. Wer oder was soll das sein? Auch den König von Karak Achtgipfel als Modell empfinde ich als seltsam, immerhin wird der als altersschwacher Zwerg dargestellt.

Die Gyros klingen witzig.

Der Amboss könnte jetzt also alle 3 Runen oder sogar neue mit E-Würfel in der Magiephase aktivieren. Ich weiß nicht, wie schwer das zu bannen wird... sollte er immer noch explodieren können (ich geh mal nicht davon aus), wäre es auch riskant.

Irondragons sind bessere Musketenschützen?

Hm bin mal positiv gespannt was da so kommen wird. Ich frage mich ob die Runenmeister dann auch sowas wie Stufen kriegen, weil sie so halt wieder nur Ambossträger sind. Bin auch gespannt ob der Amboss noch brauchbar sein wird, nur 3 Gebundene sind halt gegen Stufe 4 nicht grad so beeindruckend, ähnlich der 6. Edi. Vor allem wenn nur 2 davon Druck machen wie bisher. "Runen und Kriegsmaschinen bleiben gleich" glaub ich nicht, da müssen sie ja ein paar anpassen und da verkaufen sie ja nix neues. Die Gyros klingen für mich auch witzig und auch spielerisch interessant als schnelleres Element. Unter Blacksmiths als Infanterie kann ich mir gar nix vorstellen, die Ironguard der Chaoszwerge sind doch so schwere Infanterie mit Hellebarden oder? Insgesamt freu ich mich aber auf jeden Fall drauf, klingt net schlecht bisher großes Grinsen

Gab es nicht so Geschichten dass obere Teile von Karak Achtgipfel rückerobert wurden? Vlt. gibts da ja nen König.

Das wird wohl König Beregar von Karak Achtgipfel sein, der ist aber nicht altersschwach soweit ich mich erinnere, der hat ja sogar Skarsnik getrotzt großes Grinsen

Wäre sehr cool den zu sehen! Von den Modellen her....naja, das klingt ziemlich cool...vor allem die neue Infanterieeinheit, da gibt es ja mer als genügend Alternativen großes Grinsen

Jopp, der obere Bereich wurde zurückerobert und kann gerade so gehalten werden. Der König Belegar ist aber eben müde vom Kämpfen und nur vom halten. So wird es zumindest im Gotrek und Felix geschildert. Aber vielleicht kriegt man im AB sogar den jungen Belegar ^^

That same source mentioned some things to me last night about the Dwarf release, although he did say that he had not seen the models. the following are "Rumours" mentioned:

There will be a new Dual kit which will make a Throne carried by 4 Dwarves, in which Thorgrim Grudgebearer or a normal Dwarf Lord can be mounted. The kit will also make the Anvil of Doom, which is swapped out with the seat of the throne and carried by 4 Dwarves, and counts as a mount for a Runelord. The model will be on a 60x100 base and is pictured in a unit.

So from this I get that the new anvil is carried by 4 Dwarves just like the throne, and that the model will have a special character as well as a Lord and Runelord option. I wonder if it will also include the Runelord special character? This all sounds very plausible and very similar to what we have seen with the Dark Elves Cauldron of Blood kit which had a special character (Hellibron) and two other mounted models.

There is a new infantry plastic kit which can make Hammerers and Iron Breakers. The Hammerers are armed with great weapons (Hammers) and the Iron Breakers have hand weapon and shield (axes). The bodies are the same for both with head and weapon swaps.

Sounds like the Dark Elves Executioner/Black Guard kit to me

The other infantry kit is a Troll Slayer unit that can also make a new unit of Berserkers. The kit also makes a giant slayer.

Nothing new here.

The new single plastic figure is a Thane holding a hammer.

Sounds legit

All the existing plastics remain.

Fairly standard these days. The only plastic kit we have seen replaced in recent times was the Dark Elves core troops. Shame the High Elves missed out.

So no mention of Plastic Gyrocopters and a dual kit which makes a huge cannon or a tunnelling machine. Its not to say that these will not happen just that this guy does not mention them. The above looks to be a full allotment for a 1 month release. A forth plastic box could fit in however 5 would indicate a 2 month window for release and open up the possibility of more plastic kits or it may just be a thin release.

At any rate we shall find out within 2 weeks.

Quasi die Bestätigung, dass die Zwerge vor der Tür stehen. Man sieht den Teil eines vermutlichen Zwergenthrons (auf jeden Fall zwergisches Ding) und rechts steht wohl Belegar, wie es in den Gerüchten schon angekündigt wurde.
